Avalon Resort Pet Policy
Thank you for choosing to visit The Avalon Resort with your pet(s). It is our intent to provide you with not only a wonderful and enjoyable stay, but also a safe one. For the comfort and safety of all guests and pets, we kindly request that all pet owners act responsibly with their pets. Please read, adhere, and agree to the following hotel pet policies.
There is a $25 per night/per pet PLUS $100 per stay refundable pet fee. The pet fee per night includes treats, drying towel and waste bags. This per night fee will also help cover the cost of deep cleaning the room in preparation for our next guest.
We welcome all well-mannered dogs and cats weighing 50 pounds or less. We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limiting to biting, excessive barking, evidence of disease, or urination or defecation in public areas. .
Your pet(s) should have all recommended vaccinations currently up-to-date, and you agree to obtain and provide current records from a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet(s) should The Avalon Resort request this information from you at any time. .
Pets should be leashed or restrained at all times in public spaces in the hotel or on the property. .
Pets should be supervised at all times while in the hotel or on the property. .
Guests should display the “Do Not Disturb” sign to alert housekeeping that a pet is in residence. If the room would like to be serviced, the guest either needs to be present or needs to remove the dog before housekeeping enters the room to service it. .
Non - Pet-Friendly Areas
Pets are not allowed in the food and beverage area which include but are not limited to the pool, hot tub area, BBQ area and Picnic area. .
Pets are allowed to be walked on property and in our New Dog Park .
Guests are responsible for pet waste clean-up inside the hotel and throughout the property grounds. Any guest caught not cleaning up after their pet will be charged a $250 fine and may be asked to leave the property. .
Guests are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their pet(s). Guests will be responsible for all damages caused by their pet. After departure the room will be inspected, and any damages will be placed on the guest’s account. .
The Avalon Resort reserves the right to remove guests whose pets are deemed noisy or disruptive. .
Long Term Stay
Any stay of 6 nights or longer will have an additional $100 refundable deposit applied to their account. .
Feeding Your Pet.
You may only feed your furry friend in your room or at your car all pet food, bowls and water must be kept in the kitchen area or bathroom of your unit, do not place water bows or feed bowls on the carpet areas. .
Release and Indemnification
Release and Indemnification. You agree to release, defend, and indemnify The Avalon Resort, and owner from any and all claims or damages related to your pet or your pet’s stay at the hotel, including any claims by other guest’s, third parties, or if your dog is involved in a fight or event with another dog or pet on property that may cause damage, illness or death to your pet. .
We had a great time at Avalon Resort Deerfield. The communication was super easy and quick (Thanks Tonya) and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictured. The location is great. Staffs really nice even let me checked in early (Thanks Tonya) You can walk anywhere like to the beach, restaurants. That’s why I booked it again 😃👍🏼

This place a quite a hidden gem, has a boutique feel, very clean and good amenities. The staff is simply amazing and there are not enough good things i can say about it. I will definitely return for a longer stay soon.
Honestly you can't complain, it's paradise and what makes it, is the staff and care that goes into this hidden gem!
